Kids Fishing Camps

Learn how to cast a fly rod and to fish like a pro under the direction of Southern Angler Instructors. Campers will become efficient casters, proficient knot tiers, and self-reliant anglers with the knowledge of where fish live, what they eat, proper lure/fly selection, and the ability to put it all together when the fish takes ahold of the end of your line!

Women’s Rod & Reel Classes

Women only! This class has been designed specifically for women. In addition to learning the dynamics of fly casting, this is a great opportunity to connect with other women who are eager to take up the exciting sport of fly fishing in a comfortable and supportive setting.

Introduction to Saltwater Fly Fishing Class

If you’re a beginner, or haven’t fly fished in a while, the easiest way to get started is with our Southern Angler 2 Hour Introduction to Fly Fishing Class at our Headquarters. This course will give you the skills you need to get out and immediately start fishing the saltwaters of the Treasure Coast.

Introduction to Saltwater Fly Fishing Seminars

Come join us at Southern Angler where we "tackle" the basics of fly fishing, tackle selection, and more; allowing you to develop a deeper understanding of how your rod, reel and line can work seamlessly together. With hands-on demonstrations and regular practice, you’ll learn how to cast from an expert, tie essential knots, select the right kind of flies and know how to safely land and release a fish.
